Capturing The Natural State

My desire to become a photographer began when I took my first hike to Devil’s Den State Park near West Fork, Arkansas. I fell in love with the beauty of the natural world, and I felt a desire to capture the power of the landscape around me. Borrowing my momís camera, I set out to teach myself everything I could about photography, and I bet I’ve taken thousands of photos to develop my skills. I believe the north- central area of Arkansas is a hidden gem, and itís closer than you think! I hope my photos inspire you to get outside and enjoy the beauty Arkansas has to offer. And, while Photoshop may allow for some amazing images to be created, I strive to take photos that capture the raw, organic beauty of a place, using minimal editing so that when you visit the site, you can recognize it instantly. Here are just a few of my favorites!
