Miller Branch Artist of the Month: Kerrie Taber
Miller Branch Library, 8701 South 28th Street, Fort Smith (479-646-3945)
The photography of Dr. Kerrie Taber will be featured at the Miller Branch Library during the month of August. The artist’s interest in photography was born during the years she lived in Austin, exploring different areas of the hill country of Texas, capturing sunrises and sunsets over the lakes and hills of the area, as well as capturing wildflowers and vistas. Also interested in history, some of her photography depicts historic forts, monuments, and locations that she travels to on extended road trips. A recent resident of the Fort Smith area, Kerrie Taber relocated for employment with the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. Be sure to stop by and enjoy her work during the month of August; artwork is available for viewing all hours that the library is open.
