Washi Cork Pin Board

If you haven’t discovered washi tape yet, you’re seriously missing out. Available at craft stores, it comes in an abundance of colors, patterns and widths, and is super easy to remove from any surface.

MATERIALS

  • Four 12” X 12” cork squares
  • Washi tape (I used ½” width)
  • Scissors
  • Painter’s tape (I used 1” width)

METHOD

To create the pattern shown, start in the center of the cork square and press a strip of washi tape diagonally, from corner to corner. Adhere a strip of painter’s tape on each side of the washi tape. Alternate between painter’s tape and washi tape until you reach the outer edges of the cork square. Remove all pieces of painter’s tape, revealing the pattern. Repeat for each cork square. Adhere cork squares to the wall in pattern shown.
