Surprise Inside Soaps

Who doesn’t love a surprise? We know kids especially love them, o why not create something that not only keeps their hands clean, but also has a surprise inside?
 
 
Materials
– Small plastic toys (dinosaurs,
farm or marine animals, other figures)
– Clear glycerin soap
– Soap mold
– Rubbing alcohol
– Spray bottle
– Soap colorant (optional)

Method
Place plastic toy into mold. The bottom of the mold is the top of the soap, so make sure the toy is placed so that it’s visible from the top.

Melt glycerin cubes in microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each until melted. Add 2-3 drops of soap colorant (too much will cause the soap to be opaque). Pour melted soap into mold. Spray tops with rubbing alcohol to remove any bubbles. Let set about an hour.

Once hardened, gently push on all sides of mold to remove soap.

This soap makes a great gift for the little ones. Just include a cute washcloth along with a thoughtful note!
