FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – The Fenix Gallery announces the opening of its latest exhibition

Control featuring recent works by local artist, Ciara Froning .

This body of work reflects the artist’s ongoing experiments with the theme of control and the

process of willingly letting it go. By blending calculated elements with those of chance, the

artist strives to uncover unique creative reactions that incorporate both analog and digital

manipulation.

Control is a must-see exhibit presenting works that explore alternative image reproduction

techniques using substrates that range from raw canvas to resin. Traditional pen drawings

depicting digitally altered imagery will also be on display. Additionally, Fenix Member Artists

will offer their own responses to the theme of Control. The exhibit will be on view from

January 15 th through February 29 th with a reception on January 16th from 5 to 8.
